This is a neat little EPROM programmer. Unfortunately for me, the new improved model, the TL866II Plus lowered the programming voltage from 21 V to 18 V. This means I cannot program 2532 or 2732 EPROMs that are used in early SS pinball games. Loading the software is hit or miss in that the instructions are in Chinese symbols.

There are two buttons and I figured that maybe the left one is for a 32 bit system? There is a custom driver for this burner that Windows7 seems to want to replace. Do not let Windows do that as it will then not be able to communicate with the burner. If you need 21V programming, look for the TL866A model. There are some nice little components included in this kit!

Note that the null character which terminates the string is also written to memory. Thus, in reading the string using a STAMP or similar, t he programmer must test for zero to determine the end of the message. /* ** EEPROM2.C ** ** Illustrates how to program 93C56 Serial EEPROM using the Parallel ** Port.

***Pros*** 1.) Great Jumper cables (you can never have enough of these right?) 2.) love the breadboard. Crucial for any electronics enthusiast 3.) Includes a USB cable, and a good one at that. Those of you familiar with Arduino will know they are notoriously known to hardly ever include a USB cable with the device. So its nice to get one in such an inexpensive kit. 4.) The Dot matrix is great, realistically worth about half of the kit's entire price! 5.) The L293D is included and is a nice chip to have for any part's bin 6.) Nice variety of resistors, transistors, switches, a couple potentiometers, diodes, capacitors, decent number of LEDs, a motor and a few others things. 7.) No electronics workshop is complete without a 555 timer (I actually received 2 of them), an optocoupler and a shift register (2 are indeed included).

8.) Great LCD. I needed a programmer that could do 2716 PROMS and i wanted to be able to do bigger ones in the same family, like 2732, 2764, etc. This programmer had really good write-ups, so i figured i'd give it a shot.

It was a great value and works really well. The only catch is that the documentation is a little shaky, but that was to be expected. The documentation for just about everything now is a less than spectacular. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a reasonably priced PROM programmer. Just remember to check if the devices you want to program are on the list for the programmer before you buy it. After purchasing this I realized that it is not setup to program KB9012 KBC chips with the built in bios.

There is a circuit board there labeled for 9012 but it is a bare board with no connector soldered to it. One would get the idea that you would use that to create an adapter for the programmer. However, There are no CD's or any other type of manual included in the kit as it describes. Teri yaadein mulakatein mp3 song by atif aslam free download hd.

The kit does come with what is pictured however, From watching certain you tube videos on the RT809 one would get the impression that its everything you need to program the KB9012. However, This is not the case. As for how well the unit works for other chips I do not know. I have only really had to replace a KB9012 chip and information on this is hard to come by unless you speak another.
