On the first time it started bootlooping after I plugged my USB drive to transfer a few edited saves. Apparently some Kingston drives cause this, for some unknown reason. The second time happened because I couldn't delete the ART folder, so I could copy an updated one, so I just renamed the old one as ART2 and copied the new one to the HDD. I don't have an MC and am using FreeHD Boot, as I prefer to have all the saves on the HDD and not have anything protruding from the console.

I ended up just backing up all the games, formating the drive and do the whole process again. In the end I gave up trying to do anything that involves plugging a USB drive to the console, as it seems that's what's causing it to bootloop.

That has been a while since I am using the forum to study and understand more about the playstation 2, and now I think that`s time to start contributing. I still have a long way to try compiling things for the PS2 itself. But I realized I can help on the PC-side of things. In my opinion the best way to manage PS2 HDD`s still the direct conection to pc. But we have very few options to manage that.

We are stuck at sending images using WinHiip or HDL Dump and sending one file at a time with PFS SHELL. I loved the usage of PFS Shell.

Since PFS Explorer Ended development centurys ago, and ended with the HDD corrupting issue, It has no practical usage for passing files. Then I had the idea. Wy not take PFS Shell and put it in a GUI that can make thigs faster as more user-friendly? And I started This. But in the wrong aproach.

I was using Visual studio fot the GUI before verifying the prerequisites for the PFSShell code. So I had to restart everything from scratch. Here are the features I plan to put in the Manager: • Put a browser windows-explorer-like styled for The two sides (PC files to PS2 PFS system); • Set Drag and Drop to work properly. • Set and make multiple files work properly (1 drag to various files at the same time) • Manage PFS HDD Partitions (A function like WinHip`s formating HDD, and Explore ALL partitions like in the listing function of PFSShell) • The function to dump a image to the PFS HDD. Fuse that with OPL Manager and make the only one tool needed to make anything on the ps2 HDD I dont know if my last wish will ever be possible.

But i think the rest is really possible and would be great for everyone. I decided to make this when I tryed to put my Covers list on my HDD and everything failed (the list is huge - I need a funtion to transfer multiple files ad my SATA network adapter does not have Network(?)) If anyone coulg give me any hints or ideas, please, be welcomed. I would really enjoy this.
