You camera is a generic USB Camera provided by Asus. When you look up the IDs, it comes back as 'ASUSTEK USB CAMERA'. The odd thing is that official download page for your laptop does not include the camera driver. This leads me to believe the driver has been bundled with another suite of drivers like the Chipset or another set of utilities. Tematicheskij trenazher po russkomu yaziku gorbacevich otveti. If I were in your shoes, I'd be going through their driver downloads and installing anythin If I had to guess, I'd say it's probably bundled as part of their Chipset untilies or something similar. Go through their office driver downloads and look for items you may not have installed.

Let's try to see what kind of device error you're getting on the USB device. It sounds like you're downloading the right driver, so let's see if the error is other than 'No driver installed' List any Problem devices • Make sure devices are connected and powered on • Click the Start Orb, type msinfo32 in the search box. Hit Enter • Click the + sign next to Components to expand it • Click Problem Devices. Anything appear? • If yes, click on it, Ctrl-A to select all, Ctrl-C to copy it, Ctrl-V to paste into next post • On the other hand, if no devices are listed, tell me so. I've got a dash camera that can operate as a web cam.
I need it to operate as a web cam so I can focus the lens. It's a bit fuzzy as is. I'm running windows 7 64 bit and the camera has no distinguishing manufacturer. It's from china. The name of the dash cam can be F70, i1000 or X6 but no one seems to be able to nail down a manufacturer. Device manager just sees it as USB Video device and error code 10 (device cannot start). It will see it as a USB storage device and it works fine when I have a MicroSD card installed.
Hardware ID's: USB VID_1F3A&PID_1000&REV_0100&MI_00 USB VID_1F3A&PID_1000&MI_00 Here's system info for problem devices: USB Mass Storage Device USB VID_0BC2&PID_3000 ____________6QG1402C This device cannot start. USB Video Device USB VID_1F3A&PID_1000&MI_00 6&E392501&0&0000 This device cannot start. I've googled and yahoo'd but no luck.
Found a few references to a 'Hercules web cam' from the hardware id's, but it didn't work. Cam bundled as an installer and refused to install when it didn't see the hardware it wanted. It just hung halfway through. Anyone what to take a shot at it? I like a challenge. And you sure have one!!
There are some bits and pieces of info I'm trying to put together. Was your dash cam ever connected to and work with a Windows computer?
I found some indication this device may work with Linux. Not sure about Windows 2. Does this cam also record data? It's the first time I've seen a cam which includes a USB Mass Storage interface.
The 'MI_00' at the end of the hardware ID indicates a USB device with 'multiple interfaces'. In the early days, one USB device plugged into one USB port and only acted as a single device.
But later, USB spec with enhanced to support multi-interface. (One USB port but it present multiple interface over that port) A common multi-interface USB device is a wireless keyboard/mouse transceiver. It's only one physical USB port, but Windows treats it as though it were two separate devices. A hardware id with the MI_00 notation at the end indicates a multi-interface device.
Each interface needs its own suitable driver. Cams that support audio and video are also multi-interface: one for audio other for video and each with its own driver.
YOUR device is the first one I've seen that seems to include a USB Mass Storage device interface. Does it record the video???? I have an old PC USB cam DC 4120 Chicony and have no drivers for it.I know for the trick of using drivers of Hercules classic cam as they have the same chip OV519, but there are some problems when trying to install it that way. First of all I cannot finish installing process at all as it asks for CD or the right path. When I try to find in temp files the serial number or a line of numbers and letters in order to manually install it I don`t find there anything as it shows it is empty folder.I cannot even find the right path as when I go to C/users/my name/there is no Appdata at all?
